“Pennies on Parade”
Dear Community,
The Spirit of Great Oak Band & Guard as been honored to be selected to represent the United States and participate in one of the world's largest parades, London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2013!
The route passes Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square on its path ending at the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Almost a half million people line the streets of London and 240 million watch worldwide on BBC television. We are excited! To make this possible we must raise $300,000.
Pennies count!
Your business can support our band students by asking patrons to donate their change for each sale to our Pennies on Parade campaign. With your help we can send all of our students to represent the United States and give them the opportunity to be their very best. Be a part of something special and participate in the Pennies on Parade campaign.

(Over 130 Spirit of Great Oak Band & Guard families regularly search our webpage each year. Band families support businesses that support the arts and our students. )
A “Pennies on Parade” Booster Coordinator will meet with you and arrange to pick up your Pennies regularly.
