The Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association, or SCSBOA, sponsors many band related activities in and around Southern California throughout the school year including field show competitions, and concert band festivals (including one in which we host in late March).

The Marching Band Open Series (MBOS), sponsored by the Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC), provides critically acclaimed WGASC standards to field show judging, emphasizing a balance between fine musicality and general effect. MBOS has been in existence since 2006, and the Spirit Band & Guard has performed in many MBOS events.

 

The Western Band Association sponsors many band related activities across the western states throughout the school year including field show competitions, and concert band festivals.

The Winter Guard International sponsors a variety of winter color guard and percussion events at regional and national venues. Often referenced as the "Sport of the Arts."

The Southern California Percussion Alliance sponsors  indoor percussion, winter drum line, events in the Southern California area, including several events that have been hosted at Great Oak High School

The Winter Guard Association of Southern California sponsors indoor winter color guard events within the Southern California area. Including several regional events hosted at Great Oak High School.
